De'Longhi 51 mm machines: Dedica and La Specialista sizes
De'Longhi's manual espresso machines take 51 mm tools, per De'Longhi's own tamper. Bottomless portafilters are model-specific, so check your model code.

Short answer
De'Longhi says its 51 mm DLSC080 tamper fits all its manual espresso machine portafilters, and 51 mm is the size retailers give for the Dedica and La Specialista. No De'Longhi page we checked states a portafilter diameter, and no maker source gives puck screen or funnel sizes. Bottomless portafilters are where fit goes wrong: De'Longhi's own 51 mm DLSC085 is listed by a retailer for La Specialista and Dedica Maestro model codes, but not for the Dedica EC685 or EC885.
What they share

- Bottomless portafilters
- Model-specific (DLSC085 list)[2]A retailer lists De'Longhi's 51 mm DLSC085 for EC9335, EC9355, EC9555, EC9665, EC9865, EC9885, EC9155, EC9255, EC9455, EC900 and EC950. The Dedica EC685 and EC885 are not on it, and De'Longhi's own pages for the part show no model list.
Watch out for
- The name does not decide fit: Dedica Maestro codes are on the DLSC085 bottomless list, but the Dedica EC685 and EC885 are not. Go by your model code.
- Aftermarket De'Longhi bottomless portafilters are sold by ear count (two or three) or by model series (EC9xxx). Count the locking ears on your portafilter before ordering.
- De'Longhi gives no puck screen or funnel size. Sellers' 51 mm sizes are their own sizing, so measure your basket's inside diameter if a close fit matters.

Questions
What size tamper fits De'Longhi espresso machines?
51 mm for De'Longhi's manual espresso machines: De'Longhi says its 51 mm DLSC080 tamper fits all of their portafilters, without listing models.[1]
Does one bottomless portafilter fit every De'Longhi?
No. A retailer lists De'Longhi's 51 mm DLSC085 only for La Specialista and Dedica Maestro model codes, and the Dedica EC685 and EC885 are not on that list. Buy one whose listing names your model code; bottomless portafilters by machine lists the variants.[2]
What size puck screen fits a De'Longhi?
No maker source we checked gives one, and Normcore's sizing guide has no De'Longhi rows. Sellers offer 51 mm screens, but that is their sizing; measure your basket's inside diameter first, as the size guide explains.[5]
